What the extension processes
To display the mini player, the extension reads playback-related content from the active music.youtube.com page. This may include a track title, artist, album artwork, playback position, queue information, and search results.
How information is used
This information is processed locally in the browser only to display the mini player and perform controls that the user requests. Playback-related information is kept only for the active browser or extension session and is not retained by the developer after that session ends.
Settings
The selected interface language and theme, along with the local rating-prompt count and dismissal preference, are saved through Chrome Sync Storage. Chrome may synchronize these preferences between the user's Chrome browsers according to the user's Chrome sync settings.
No sale or transfer of data
Music Mini Player does not send music metadata, search queries, playback information, account information, or settings to developer-operated servers or third parties. The developer does not sell, share, or use this information for advertising or profiling.
